gala to exclusively benefit Dress for
Success, on March 24, 2012 at the Millennium
Center in downtown Winston-Salem.
Think of this as a reunion of friends. And a
chance to make a difference in someone's
life. Either way, Hope in Heels promises to
be a memorable evening with dinner, dancing,
entertainment (the Ardmores will be playing
live!), a silent auction, and more!

Volunteer at Dress for Success in January!
DFS has an immediate need to sort through their
donated items and move them out of their current
warehouse location and they need our help! They
must be moved out of the warehouse by the end of
January, so time is of the essence. We have
a final moving date for chicks to help
with this process (see below). If you would like
to volunteer please email Kathy (kurbanic@charitychicksnc.com).
We have lots of stuff to move, so you're welcome
to bring extra hands and muscles (like
husbands)!
You are welcome to come for just an hour or for
the whole time – whatever you can give would be
greatly appreciated!

Dress for Success Open Houses!
We will be hosting an Open House at Dress for
Success on the dates below, so mark your
calendar and plan to attend one to learn more
about all the great volunteer opportunities, and
what exactly DFS is all about!

3rd Annual Concert for a Cause!
March 10, 2012
Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of
Winston-Salem
Lori Garretson and friends will again be putting
on a Concert for a Cause, this year in March.
All the chicks (and family and friends) are
invited, for a great casual evening of music for
a worthy cause. We are asking for dessert and
wine donations, as well as event volunteers
before, during and after. Email
